PERFECT replacement for my rear cargo door latches/locks!
Installation was easy and straightforward. I liked that I was able to have the pair that I bought keyed alike. They look much cleaner and nicer than the ones I replaced. I also like the weather covers over the locks.

Works perfectly to hold our rear ramp up on our trailer. Easy installation Was able to buy two that were keyed the same which is nice too!
These handles were what I was expecting. They are well made and seem heavy duty. The only thing I did do was file the locator dowel off the stem so I could fold the handle in the unlocked position so it wouldn’t hit the ground. It still would have worked as is but being able to fold in the unlocked position worked better for my trailer.
Its a great latch, feels good in the hand. I really like the extra pad lock hole that in side of the handle, which protects the trailer from scratches from the lock when traveling.
Largest compression latches on Amazon weren’t holding up on the rear lift hatch of a trailer I’m building. The pair of these latches are exactly what I needed. Easy to install with solid quality construction They firmly pull the hatch to seal on the weatherstrip.

Exactly what we needed to replace the rear ramp latches on our 2018 Grand Design 399TH Toy Hauler. If you're reading this, and you have a typical toy hauler, do NOT think you need the 2" handles. You need these! The description is wrong, wrong, wrong. '4" Thick Ramp Doors'? Nothing to do with the thickness of the ramp door. Compare the bolts look and length before you order. These also come with the lock covers, which is good.
I'm giving it FOUR stars because these do NOT come with the necessary screws to mount them to the ramp door. You will need to save your old ones. (Note: The 2" product doesn't come with these screws, either.) I ended up using completely different screws.

Wrong “keyed alike” lock in which an extra charge I agreed to. When questioned I was informed you didn’t even have my key number. Then I found the depth of locking rod too short. 2 major strike outs.

I am sorry for any confusion that this has caused you. When it comes to "keyed alike" options, we are unable to key any of these Bauer locks to your pre-existing lock. When it states "keyed alike" and it doesn't allow you to put in a key number, then it most likely is the same way. We have no way to get the same key number as what you already have. So when purchasing these types of locks, you can "key alike" a bundle of locks that are purchased at the same time, but we are unable to key it alike to your pre-existing key. I apologize for any inconvenience, I recommend contacting the manufacturer if you are needing a new lock to match your pre-existing key and lock set.
